Getting Started is Easy!
- Click "Schedule Now" above.
- Choose the session you'd like to book.
- Check your email and complete the Ballet Refinery Agreement.
- Mrs. Amanda will review your request and confirm your appointment.

The Agreement is a one-time waiver and policy acknowledgment that outlines Ballet Refinery's terms and conditions, including lesson policies, payment terms, cancellation policies, liability waivers, emergency medical authorization, and consent for hands-on instruction. It helps ensure a safe, professional, and transparent experience for all dancers and families.

Once you complete the booking process, an email will be sent to you asking for you to complete the Agreement. Once the agreement is signed, then Mrs. Amanda can approve the private and payment will be taken.
Do I have to re-sign the Agreement every time I book a session?
Do I have to re-sign the Agreement every time I book a session?
No. Once you have signed the Agreement, it remains on file and applies to all future bookings made using the same email address. You will only need to complete a new Agreement if your information changes or if Ballet Refinery updates its policies and requires a new acknowledgment.
Where do sessions take place?

Private coaching sessions are offered in the comfort of your home or at an approved studio location, providing flexibility and convenience for families. If you choose to have the session at a studio, a $20 studio rental fee will be applied. Please email amanda@balletrefinery.com for more studio information.
Are Pointe Privates available for my dancer?
Are Pointe Privates available for my dancer?
Yes. Pointe coaching is available for dancers who have already been approved for pointe work by their primary ballet instructor or who successfully complete a pointe readiness evaluation with Mrs. Amanda. An evaluation can be completed through a Ballet Private. Please let Mrs. Amanda know before the session begins.

Not at all. Privates are available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers. Each session is tailored to the individual dancer's current level and experience.
What should my dancer wear?

Dancers should wear proper dance attire, including ballet shoes or pointe shoes (if applicable), hair secured back away from the face in a bun, and have a safe, open space available for movement.

The dancer is expected to arrive on time for all scheduled lessons.
If the booking needs to be rescheduled, you can do so on the booking page up until 24 hours before your scheduled session.
If the booking needs to be cancelled, then any amounts paid will be converted into a credit for future services. The credit may be applied to any future booking with the instructor and will remain valid for one [1] month from the date of cancellation. Credits are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. If the Instructor cancels a booking, then any amounts paid will be converted into a credit for future services. The credit may be applied to any future booking with the instructor and will remain valid for one [1] month from the date of cancellation. Credits are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash.
If a Student fails to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice ("no-show"), then the lesson fee shall be forfeited in full. No refunds, credits, or make-up lessons will be provided for missed lessons due to a no-show. If a Student arrives late to a scheduled lesson, then the lesson will end at the originally scheduled time, and no additional time will be added. The full lesson fee will be charged regardless of the Student's late arrival, and no refunds, credits, or make-up time will be provided.
